Set Task Custom Field From Project Custom Field
Have a need to support filtering of task-based report by key project fields? This script supports a 'copy from' function to set a task custom field that mirrors the same value at the project level. Now task detail reports can filter by project level information.
Technical Description
Updates a custom field on each task of a project with the value of a standard or custom field on the project properties when a project is saved.
Dependencies
Custom fields must be setup at the task level with synchronized field value lists if desired to be used in report filtering.
