Budget Hours From Budget Transactions
The Transaction Budget feature in NetSuite OpenAir supports the auto-population of total money budgets as a display on the project properties form. This script enables a similar capability by supporting an hours field on the budget transaction form and updating the budget hours field. A useful way to keep both money and hours fields in sync.
Technical Details
This is a scheduled OpenAir Script which extends the Projects Module. It will total the hours from budget lines on a project and replace the value in the "Budget (hours)" field with this total.
Dependencies
Budget hours fields are updated on a scheduled basis, which may be run up to every 5 minutes. The budget hours field would be recommended to be set as read-only using for permissions.
